This summer, Summerland Museum and Archives society are pleased to present guided walking tours in Upper and Lower Summerland by donation.
Explore Summerland’s Striking history and become captivated and entertained by the rich and peculiar stories and secrets of our town. The tour will be fun and informative and around an hour long. Be sure to bring good walking shoes as the tour is outside and on foot. All government guidelines on covid protection will be followed to ensure guest safety.
On July 31st, August 7th, 14th and 21st starting at 11am. The tour of Lower Summerland will begin at Summerland Trout Hatchery and explore the original Summerland Townsite that was first surveyed along the lakeshore in 1903.
We hope you can join us for these interactive walks that promote the history of our community.
