Pro D Day Kids Camp: Workin' On the Railroad

Today's camp is all about the railway, outlaws and gold mining! We will learn about the Kettle Valley Railway and its importance in the early days of Summerland.

- Build a shoebox model of your own house

- Learn about the “Gentleman Bandit,” Bill Miner and come up with your own train robber nickname!

- Construct a marshmallow trestle bridge

- Play “I Spy” in the railway model of 1950s Summerland

- Strike it rich as we make a “gemstone” necklace or bracelet!

- plus much more!

For children aged 6 - 12 years old

$45/ child for non-members
$40/child for Summerland Museum & Archives Society members
